Disastropedia AI
Disastropedia is a people-powered knowledge hub for disaster resilience and cultural preparedness, licensed to and operated by 3T-IM Innovation Machine GmbH. Originating in the EU-funded B-Prepared initiative and inspired by Civilopedia, it turns expert insight and lived experience into clear, practical guidance for families, educators, NGOs, municipalities, and migrants. Community contributions are curated by a multidisciplinary review team and continuously updated. Multilingual content, intuitive “Spaces” (organised by hazards, vulnerable groups, history, and more), and simple filters make critical information easy to find in the first minutes of a crisis and for everyday preparedness training.
3T-IM disseminates and exploits Disastropedia through a structured program of Horizon Europe collaborations, integrating it as a reference asset in multi-actor consortia (including universities, NGOs, SMEs, municipalities, and civil-protection agencies), and deploying it in living-lab pilots across EU regions.
We’ll be aligning with EU standards (where relevant), delivering multilingual content packages, and publishing open APIs for interoperability with training platforms and VR simulators. Exploitation can take form in combined partner licensing, white-label deployments for city/regional authorities, and research-to-practice toolkits. Continuous R&D will expand Disastropedia through AI-assisted authoring, evidence-based curation workflows, and impact metrics co-created with Horizon projects, ensuring sustainability beyond each grant.
